Terms and Conditions of the Contest

Het reglement van de wedstrijd georganiseerd door Skipr is in het Engels opgesteld. Indien u het Engels niet begrijpt, neemt u contact op met Skipr (via support@skipr.co ) alvorens de applicatie ervan te aanvaarden om een vertaling of een verklaring in het Nederlands te krijgen. Door dit reglement te aanvaarden, verklaart u Engels en de inhoud van dit reglement te begrijpen.

Le présent règlement du concours organisé par Skipr est établi en anglais. En acceptant le présent règlement, vous déclarez comprendre l’anglais et le contenu du présent règlement.


Organiser

Skipr SA/NV (the “Company”), having its registered office at Rue du Belvédère/Belvédèrestraat 29, 1050 Brussels, Belgium and registered with the Crossroads Bank for Enterprises of Brussels, with company number 0712.537.551, is organising a free-to-enter contest (the “Contest”).

By participating in this Contest, you (the “Entrant”) will be deemed to have read, understood and accepted these terms and conditions. These terms and conditions can be accessed via the hyperlink on our website : https://www.skipr.co/resources/contest-rules (the “Website”) and can be easily downloaded in a PDF format from the Website. 

The Company reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions, among others in order to organise further sessions of the Contest, it being specified that any substantial amendment will be announced on the Website.


  1. How can I participate and what is the goal of the Contest?

You can participate in this Contest by fulfilling the registration form on the Website. To participate, you have to register by providing your first and last name, your email address, your phone number and the first and last name, email address and phone number of your HR manager in charge of the mobility policies at your company. You also have to accept these Terms and Conditions and the Privacy and Cookie Policy (see § 6.2).  

Once you are registered and have registered your HR manager, you will receive a confirmation email in the next 2 business days, confirming if your entry is valid or not depending on the information you have provided for you and the HR manager of your company. If your company signs a 12 month contract with Skipr before the 31st of December 2020 at midnight for 40 employees or more, you will personally receive one of the 50 Cowboy bikes put at stake. 


  1. Who can participate?

The Contest is open to Entrants who reside in Belgium and are 18 years old or over at the time of entry but excluding employees, contractors and agents of the Company and members of their families (lineal ascendants, descendants and spouses/partners).

  1. When can I participate? 

The Contest shall start on 23 September 2020 at 12:00 and shall end on 31 December 2020 at 23:59 (the “Closing Date”). 

Ski might organise further sessions of the Contest in the future. Such sessions will be announced on the Website and on the Application and those Terms and Conditions shall be updated accordingly.


  1. What can I win?

It depends on two different factors. Firstly, you have to refer a company where you are working as an employee and that company has to subscribe to Skipr services for at least 40 employees. Secondly you have to be one of the first fifty people meeting that first condition.

If those two conditions are met, you will get a Cowboy bike. Delivery date of the Cowboy bike will depend on Cowboy availability and Skipr will not be responsible for any delays regarding the delivery of the bike.


  1. How and when do I know if I am one of the lucky winners? 

Each of the lucky winners will be warned by phone call or email at the earliest on the Monday following the signature of the contract with the referred company. And at the least on Monday 4 of January 2021

  1. What are the other rules governing this Contest? 

               6.1 Limit of one entry

You may not enter the Contest using: (i) more than one name for the same email address; or (ii) more than one name linked to a single household (iii) the contact information of an HR manager already in negotiations with Skipr.

Entries must be made by the Closing Date and in the manner set in these Contest rules.


               6.2 Limit of entry per company

If another employee of the company you are referring already participated in this contest and referred the same company, then you won’t be eligible for a Cowboy bike. There is a limit of 1 Cowboy bike per company, and it will be awarded to the first participant of that company.


               6.3 Privacy

The data you provide us will only be used to manage the Contest (during the first period and subsequent sessions of the Contest) and to warn you once Skipr Application is created and working.

Entrants have the right to obtain a copy of and to review, update, modify or delete at any time the information concerning them on simple written request. Such a request should be sent to the following address: support@skipr.co. Please note that the gathered data is necessary for taking part in the Contest. As a result, persons exercising the right to delete their data before the end of the Contest will be deemed to have withdrawn from the Contest.

Skipr considers the protection of your personal data and privacy extremely important. Your personal data is protected by Skipr in accordance with Skipr’s Privacy and Cookie Policy, which is available on https://www.skipr.co/resources/privacy-policy 


               6.4 Liability

The Company declines all responsibility as regards the possibility of a modification or a cancellation of the Contest due to force majeure and/or due to any sort of events or occurrences outside of its will, in particular events related to fraud or cheating or technical issues.

The Company shall in no case whatsoever bear any liability for damages suffered in relation with the utilisation of the prizes. 

The Company commits to do its best to ensure that the Website remains accessible at all times. However, the Company cannot, in any case, be held responsible in the event the Website is unavailable. The Company reserves the right, at any time, and in particular for technical reasons such as updating and maintenance, to suspend access to the Website and to the Contest.

The Company cannot be held liable in the event that one or more Entrants are unable to register on the Website as a result of any technical problem or default, resulting for example from network congestion. In addition, the Company cannot be held liable for any technical problems related to the various platforms.

An explicit reminder is given that the Internet is not a secure network. The Company is not liable for contamination by any viruses or intrusion by a third party into the terminal system of anyone entering the Contest and declines all responsibility for the consequences that arise as a result of an Entrant’s connection to the network via the Website. The Company declines all responsibility in the event of malfunctioning of its Internet network, in particular due to malicious acts from outside which might prevent satisfactory running of the Contest. It is the responsibility of all Entrants to take all appropriate measures to protect their own data and/or the software loaded on to their computer equipment against any attack. Any person logging on to the Website and taking part in the Contest does so exclusively at their own risk.

               6.5 Intellectual property

Any reproduction, representation or adaptation of all or part of the elements of any advertising medium used for publicizing, organising or running the Contest is strictly forbidden. All intellectual property rights into and under the Contest and the expression of it shall be and hereby are exclusively owned by and reserved to the Company.


               6.6 Adherence to the rules

The Company reserves the right to exclude any person from the Contest and to take legal proceedings against them if they try to cheat or interfere with the orderly running of the Contest. Winners who are found to have cheated will automatically forfeit their prizes. 

Entrants who try to participate or who participate by methods such as automated participating systems, programs designed to participate automatically and, generally, all methods that do not conform to the principle of all Entrants having an equal chance in the Contest, will be automatically eliminated.


               6.7 Warranty & Authorisation

You warrant that the data included in your registration form are correct. Any false, incorrect or incomplete declaration will result in automatic elimination from the Contest. 

You authorise the Company to carry out all checks (identity documentation, etc.) necessary to ensure that you comply with these Contest’s terms and conditions.


               6.8 Applicable law and jurisdiction

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with Belgian law and the Parties submit any disputes arising out of or in connection with this Contest to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Brussels.
